Privacy Policy
millercartermenu.co.uk is a static content site. It has no accounts or comment forms, stores no personal data itself, and uses Google Analytics to count visits.
- Updated 16 Oct 2026
- UK GDPR
- Independent guide
Who is the data controller?
millercartermenu.co.uk is published by an independent UK publisher and is not affiliated with Miller & Carter or Mitchells & Butlers plc.
For any privacy question or data request, email [email protected]. We never hold data on Miller & Carter's behalf.
What data do we collect?
The site stores nothing about you itself. Google Analytics counts which pages are visited, using cookies set when a page loads.
- Google Analytics cookies to count visits (see below)
- No advertising or ad tracking
- No accounts, so no profile data
- No stored form submissions
Which cookies does the site use?
Two Google Analytics cookies, set when a page loads, plus one browser storage entry that remembers you have seen the cookie notice.
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people read, so we know which prices and guides to keep up to date. Google processes this data on our behalf; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Analytics data is kept for 14 months, and advertising features are off.
To stop Google Analytics, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
The page fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser fetches them, as with any web font.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor from another, so visits can be counted | 2 years |
| _ga_ZE30P1KWGX | Google Analytics | Keeps the current visit together as one session | 2 years |
| cookie-notice.v1 (local storage, not a cookie) | This site | Remembers that you closed the cookie notice | Until you clear it |
What do the server logs contain?
The web server keeps standard access logs (the page requested, the time and your IP address) for up to 30 days, then they are deleted.
Logs exist for security and abuse prevention. They are not used to build profiles and are not shared or sold.
What are your rights?
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, get a copy, ask for it to be corrected or erased, or object to processing.
Because the site holds no personal data, most requests will come back "nothing held". Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
When does this policy change?
When the site's data practices change (for example if advertising is switched on), this page is updated with a new date.
