Young guests (12 or under) have their own Christmas Day menu from £49.95 with a complimentary J20. It includes a 30 day aged rump steak 4.5oz, a 50 day aged filet mignon 5oz, turkey, burgers and sea bass. Festive cocktails on the day cost £11.50 each. No voucher or discount can be used with the Christmas Day menu.

Festive sides are any 3 for £12: pigs in blankets (£5.25), Brussels sprouts with pancetta and chestnuts (£4.95), crispy sage potatoes (£4.95), cauliflower cheese (£5.25), beef brisket stuffing and crispy brie. The Festive Menu is a promotional menu, so discounts cannot be used with it. Tables of 9 or more get an optional 10% service charge.

What does Miller & Carter serve on Boxing Day and New Year's Eve?

Boxing Day is a set menu from £41.50 for two courses. New Year's Eve has a three-course set menu from £57.95 with a glass of Prosecco, and the full à la carte all day.

Boxing Day dishes include chargrilled king prawns, pan-roasted lamb rump and turkey ballotine (subject to availability), with steak supplements of £7 for filet mignon or Wagyu and £3 for Black Angus ribeye.

On New Year's Eve the set menu offers fillet 8oz, ribeye 12oz or sirloin 12oz steaks (Wagyu 10oz at £10 extra), plus duck, black cod or a squash risotto. A 35oz Porterhouse sharing experience for two, with a lobster tail and mac and cheese, is sold separately that night from £104.95 (Wollaton, Muswell Hill and Manchester menus). Moët, Cloudy Bay, Whispering Angel or Penfolds Bin 2 cost £40 a bottle on the night.

Is there a gluten-free Christmas menu at Miller & Carter?

Yes. There are separate gluten-free Christmas Day, Festive, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve menus, and the gluten-free Festive Menu is accredited by Coeliac UK.

Do you pay a deposit for Christmas at Miller & Carter?

Yes. Christmas Day needs a £10 per person deposit, then full payment and a pre-order by 1 December. Deposits are non-refundable within 14 days of dining.

• Christmas Day: £10pp deposit on all tables from 11:30am; full payment and pre-order by 1 December.
• Festive Menu: £10pp deposit on tables of 7 or more between 12 and 24 December (5 or more at selected sites from 17 November).
• Boxing Day: £10pp deposit on tables of 5 or more from 11:30am.
• New Year's Eve: £10pp deposit on tables of 7 or more until 4:45pm (5 or more at selected sites), and on all tables from 4:45pm.
